*Each bottle is 5 ml. Adequan i.m. (poly sulfated glycosaminoglycan) treats degenerative joint diseases (JDD) in horses. Reduces inflammation, restores synovial joint lubrication, repairs articular cartilage and reverses the disease cycle.
INDICATIONS:
Adequan i.m. (poly sulfated glycosaminoglycan) is recommended for the intramuscular treatment of non-infectious degenerative and/or traumatic joint dysfunction and associated lameness of the carpal and hock joints in horses.

Recommended method for dosing:
At the first signs of degenerative joint disease, veterinarians may administer Adequan i.m. at the label approved dose (500 mg) to help achieve improvement. After the initial series, both veterinarians and owners should continue to monitor the horse's joint health and mobility. Veterinarians may repeat the series 1 day, 4 days, or 7 days, as needed upon recurrence of clinical signs of DJD.
